Code of Ma'atian Ethics

Ma'atian Ethics or the Way of Ma'at refers to the foundational principle of the universe (Ma'at) upon which God laid the creation. This "Way" was first described and explained in the Sacred Book and is found in many writings since that time. Many of the precepts may seem like common sense but apparently in all ages common sense has never quite been common.

Also known as the General Civilization Code (GCC) the Code of Ma'atian Ethics is the foundation upon which a free just and equitable society must be built. As THE foundational moral and ethical code of Uas, the GCC lays the groundwork for everything we do and build.

Ma'at is our just cause, the foundation of the GCC, and Uas uses this principle to build our community. But the Way of Ma'at transcends the physical; it is also and even primarily the path to heaven and a way of building our relationship with God. We are taught in our Sacred Book that this is the way of life and exhorted to "Practice Ma'at, and Live!". So, what must be done on earth to be free of any wrongdoing, to be victorious in life, and see the face of God in heaven?

This is what we were commanded and this then is what is required of us. To make it to an eternal heaven we must do those things that are pleasing to God and refrain from those things that God abhors. In essence, we must be righteous. And YES it really is that simple. Righteousness exalts our Nation. Be Righteous and Live!
