Compact with the Black Community

Uas is founded on the Covenantal principle, and specifically the Covenant of the Nation of Kemet. A Covenant is a formal promise or agreement (pledge, treaty, convention or Compact), usually written and officially sealed, between parties to enter into a relationship and to undertake and perform certain obligations.

Covenants can be bilateral, with both parties making promises and stating expectations, or they can be unilateral, with one party making promises to and stating the expectations of the other.

As part of our mission of service and leadership, Uas offers and extends this Compact unilaterally to the Black Community.

In the name of the Lord God Almighty:

1
This is the Compact between Uas and the Black Community. Those who follow, join, and struggle with Uas will be one Nation with Uas before all others.

2
The followers of Uas will perform our duties within our ranks according to custom and will satisfy what is commanded of Uas. We will not fail to make restitution for the crimes of our family. We will make restitution on their behalf and it will be the common obligation of Uas to enforce justice on the violators. If any wrong has been done to anyone it must be heard in a court.

3
The followers of Uas will not take an adversary of the Black Community as our ally. We will oppose the rebellious and those that encourage injustice or transgression, enmity or corruption among the Black Community. If anyone is guilty of such acts, all the followers of Uas will oppose him even if he be the son of any one of them. A follower of Uas will not oppose anyone of the Black Community, for the sake of any but God and Ma'at.

4
We are friends to each other before all others. Security will be respected. The weakest among the Black Community will have security and it will be binding on Uas and all allies. The allies of Uas will be helped and will be treated with justice, none will be wronged. Allies are required to protect the persons and the property of Uas as their own. The persons and property of the enemies of Uas must be surrendered and no one will be permitted to intervene in favor of an enemy. Anyone who has been given security will be treated as innocent while doing no harm and committing no crime. Those given security but engaging in treachery will be punished. The Nation of Kemet will be a sanctuary for the People of this Compact.

5
Uas will not go to war without the permission of the Nasi. The peace of the followers of Uas cannot be divided. We must avenge the blood of one another when struggling in the way of our just cause. Binding peace will not be made by anyone in the Black Community when Uas is struggling in the way of our just cause. The conditions of peace and war and the associated costs must be fair and equitable to all. If one joins in the struggle or remains in his home, he will be safe from harm unless he commits a crime or violates the Compact.

6
The followers of Uas have Ma'at as a standard and Sakhairaw for guidance and because of this can serve as an exemplar in all respects. Those who would follow them must also aspire to come up to the same standard. If anyone harms a follower of Uas without just cause, he will be brought to justice. Until God is satisfied, all followers of Uas will be against him. No one will be allowed to shelter him. Anyone who harms another without just cause amounts to him harming himself. Any disagreement on the matter must be arbitrated and settled accordingly in a court.

7
Allies who contribute towards the struggle and when fighting alongside Uas will be treated as one community. Those who have a foreign religion will be as one with we who have our own. This Compact will also extend to the families of the allies to be afforded the same status. The exception will be those who act unjustly and treacherously, thereby wronging themselves and their families. But loyalty provides security from all harm. This status is for conduct displaying Ma'at and for shouldering responsibility for service to the Black Community. Others who are in alliance with Uas and the Black Community will be given the same treatment as the allies.

8
The allies must bear their share of expenses in the struggle and the followers of Uas must bear their share of expenses. If someone attacks anyone who is a party to this Compact all other parties to it will come to his assistance. All must seek mutual support and consultation. Those who refuse mutual support and consultation do so due to a lack of loyalty. But loyalty provides security from all harm.

9
In the case of any dispute or controversy which may result in discord or confusion, the matter must be referred to a court for resolution.

10
The parties to this Compact are bound to help each other in the event of an attack on the Black Community. If the allies are called upon to make and maintain peace they must do so. If a similar demand is made on the followers of Uas, it must be carried out, except when the followers of Uas are struggling in the way of their just cause.

11
Everyone will have his share in accordance with what group he belongs to. Individuals must benefit or suffer for the good or bad deed of the group they belong to. Without such a rule, affiliations and discipline cannot be maintained. The allies, including their families have the same standing as the followers of Uas in this Compact, as long as they are loyal to the Compact. Anyone who acts loyally or otherwise does so to his own benefit or detriment.

12
God approves this Compact, but this Compact will not protect one who acts unjustly or commits crimes against the Black Community. God is the protector of His People, and His Nasi and His Uas are the guarantor of this Compact.

Written and Sealed.

Nine Year Calendar

The year 1619 marks the beginning of our enslavement in North America. We feel it appropriate that we exert every effort to obtain our Liberation in 2019, after 400 years as prophesied in the Sacred Book.

  1. 2010-2011CE - Year of Sifting
  2. 2011-2012CE - Year of Pillars
  3. 2012-2013CE - Year of Brightening
  4. 2013-2014CE - Year of Merchants
  5. 2014-2015CE - Year of the Northland

Liberation requires a process and progress, a timeframe with clear goals and milestones and most importantly a completion date.
